The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club has made a groundbreaking move by promoting Kim Weiss to Assistant Coach of their AHL affiliate, the Colorado Eagles. This appointment marks a significant milestone as Weiss becomes the second woman in the NHL or AHL to hold a full-time Assistant Coach position, joining Seattle Kraken assistant Jessica Campbell.
